Facebook is a networking site that connects people around the world and makes the planet a global village. This social networking giant was started by Mark Zuckerberg and his friends. The website is primarily aimed at monetizing ads by connecting people or socializing. This white paper mainly tries to tell what Facebook is and focuses on how it can be used for educational purposes. It also highlights some security issues faced by Facebook users. This white paper primarily explains how this education can be useful beyond describing student-teacher interactions, student councils on Facebook, and FB opinion polls.

Introduce.

Facebook was founded by roommates from Mark Zuckerberg and Harvard. Initially, he founded a website called 'Face mash' for Harvard students. This website attracted a lot of users and motivated me to program 'Facebook'. Initially, the use of this website was limited to Harvard students. Later, when I saw the response from this website, it also expanded to students on other websites. In 2009, the services of this website were made available to everyone over 13 years old.

Users of this website must create an account with a valid email ID. Each user has a separate profile, which contains some personal information about the user. Users can edit their profile, add photos, post to the wall (the wall is a personal space provided by this web page. It's almost like a personal bulletin board, etc.) or send a message (message options are It's almost like email and it's a secure communication link) You can also poke a friend (partially funny and partly boring event so other users can know their presence). Users can also customize privacy settings for their profile. Here the contents of the profile are visible only to friends or selected customized users.

If the other person accepts 'friend request', all registered users can search for other members and add them as friends. You can also classify your friends into close friends, family, high school friends, etc. to track your close friends' activities. You can also create or join groups that interest you.

In addition, users can create 'events' and send online invitations with RSVP options, giving organizers an efficient and simple tool for 'organizing' to be a huge success.

Facebook also provides notifications to remind users of various important events, meetings, dates, etc. This interface also notifies you when someone's profile is tagged. Facebook also offers chart, calendar, and clock applications.

Facebook has emerged as a new standard for learning and education as well as for simple communication. Thanks to innovative technology, Facebook is supported on all mobiles, tabs and computers. Because of this, FB has established itself as an educational platform for sharing materials, having discussions, conducting contests and evaluations, and above all, no prior training is required [4]. FB users vary from children going to school to seniors, but the proportion of teens and college students is quite large. The reason behind it is a new wandering place where you can tell and pass on harmless hiding, identity signs, apart from acquaintances, mythical and quixotic affairs, which are the main frontal of youth growth. Sophisticated studies based on the time college teens spend per day, how and why they exercise FB, describe the same end result [13].

From the student's and teacher's perspective, Facebook can run effectively as a social network. Students are encouraged to engage in FB as a process of active involvement, while solidifying their pride and poise, while providing additional incentives, explaining various lessons, and adapting and updating students' expected scenarios. [3]. Another approach is to use Facebook to dig up a strike on the instructor's self-revelation to increase student confidence as well as immediate anxiety. In this invited research area, research is underway to analyze the nature of computer-led teacher disclosure. Facebook is likely to be a valuable asset in defending an academic alliance with faculty. The results indicate that the latter tendency to reveal self can stimulate effective learning in students through interactive sessions [6, 11].

Before being used for educational purposes, FBs today are used to pre-register students to participate in educational institutions and to socialize and integrate with others [2]. Detailed findings are the evolution of social networks, people's horizons, FB's implications for executives, prospects for campus networking in the future, and an interface to the environment to be mentioned [8]. In addition to just learning, it also serves as a powerful medium for spreading millions of attention-grabbing social issues in seconds. More theories deal with this idea and some analysis of the actual possibilities is carried out [1].

Apart from general research, the final report suggests that some SNSs (including FBs) use inescapable (academic) means of communication every day. Statistics, surveys, questionnaires, etc. can help you identify various impressions of SNS. They mentioned that they can get an idea of their grandeur, innovation, necessity, use and intention. SNS has some drawbacks, but checks and resources have phenomenally increased usability, which is now very common. Some of the reasons for the unimaginable popularity of FB are self-expression, entertainment quotes, relationship retention, visual familiarity, global updates of all forms, media scratches and regular follow-up of famous icons [7,9].

In addition to entertainment and educational platforms, FB allows researchers from around the world to experiment with their students' mental attitudes to depression in particular. There are a few strategies for approaching someone who expressed a personal opinion about something or someone. This topic is worth discussing because it is currently an issue [5]. Mathematical experiments with FBs and users appear for a variety of purposes, including the approximate percentage of gender, the time each race spends, chat, find friends, hides, event reminders, multimedia sharing, games, and business [12]. Thus, students can maintain tight links through the FB wall, hang up the phone, and create new institutions. As far as students are concerned, they can share and exchange information about teaching and learning, and develop more practically than writing books. Has definitely introduced an online fashion that people can do with their close dear distant friends [10].
Facebook usage for networking purpose:

This networking conglomerate is the second most used website in the world and has around 900 million online traffic from around the world. This website is not only a platform for networking, but also useful for improving education, making news more accessible, and promoting advertising and business. The variety of applications provided by this network makes it almost ubiquitous.

Use Facebook as a global classroom:

Many teachers today believe that using Facebook is so familiar to students around the world that if used properly, it can give an edge to education. Teachers and students can be Facebook friends. That way, the teacher can know a lot about them personally. Unconventional student-teacher conversations may be available online. Teachers and students can post learning-related videos and articles on the wall for other students to see and learn. If students and teachers are Facebook friends, students can always question and hear explanations based on the availability of online staff. Posting topics on the assignments and submission dates on Facebook is convenient for both staff and students. This networking can create a bond between preachers and preachers that is not possible in today's classrooms.

Use Facebook as a Student Counsel:

Online forums or groups are created with Facebook so students can consult each other. Such groups can be very interactive and useful for students to have learning combined with group activities. New innovative ideas for students can be shared and discussed with colleagues at any time. Discussions on topics about subjects or assignments can be done online and students can get good participation from other fellow students.

Critics' Claims:

But critics say that students and teachers should not be 'friends' on Facebook because they change the teacher-teacher's overall relationship. Also, some people say that teachers or students can misuse or exploit this online friend. Surveys conducted by Kirschner and Karpinski for university students in the midwestern United States show that students spending time on Facebook have lower GPA than students who do not use Facebook. This is not the only reason these students have reduced their GPA, but this may also have explained the GPA. This may be true in the western regions of the world. However, an emphasis study conducted by universities in the eastern part of the world shows that the use of Facebook and GPA is not relevant.

Threats for Facebook Privacy:

There is always a privacy threat on Facebook. There are more security threats on Facebook as illegal people use their doctor status. However, research on students has shown that because of their use of Facebook, they have not faced real-time security issues (e.g. being stalked online or by real strangers). In addition, many students do not worry about their identity being released on Facebook.

Student Facebook use for other purposes:

A survey was conducted with a survey of approximately 250 students at SASTRA University. I was asked the following question and the students had to answer briefly.

name:

age:

gender:

Time spent on Facebook:

Show in%:

Time spent online:

Activity on facebook:

Can I use Facebook for training? Yes No

If so, please explain in detail.

If not, write it elaborately.

In any way, Facebook will help you with your studies:

Does using Facebook affect your research?

Facebook available as a global classroom: yes / no

If so, please explain in detail.

If not, write it elaborately.

Can I use Facebook as a student council: yes / no

If so, please explain in detail.

If not, write it elaborately.

The following results were obtained. About 86% of students said they could use Facebook for education, 64% said that Facebook was helpful for their studies, 70% agreed that Facebook would not affect their research, and 68% said that this networking site 83% used as global classrooms said networking giants could be used as student conferences.

conclusion:

As we all know, coins, unprecedented stories and everything else on earth have two sides. Everything has advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, if you use Facebook correctly, you can create powerful training tools. But students who spent more than six hours on Facebook lost their interest in research, and eventually GPA was small. However, when educators start using Facebook as an educational tool, the downside may be greater than the advantages of Facebook. In conclusion, this study will take the lead in the emerging phases of Facebook, paying special attention to educational and academic purposes. Therefore, this paper triggers an empirical and theoretical investigation of the academic activity of Facebook.
