Video content creation is growing in popularity these days because it is a particularly popular format. Occurs because watching a video is a practical and easy way to deal with different topics.

For this reason, there is a high volume of searches for videos. According to YouTube itself, more than 1 billion hours of daily users are watching 1 billion hours of content. That's why many people are working to implement this strategy either as a major source of income or as a business promotion tool.

But for those just getting started, there are some questions about how to create a YouTube channel, the main network for distributing videos organically.

Therefore, in order to better understand how this platform works, we have put together a complete checklist to get you started with your channel immediately.

How to create a YouTube channel

There are two options when creating a YouTube channel. Create a personal account or create a company name. In this post, we will give you two options to choose the option that best suits the goals of this network.

Most of the steps are the same for both accounts. So, with this little tutorial I'll talk about them and show you the difference between creating a personal account and a company account.

1. Sign in to your Google Account

No matter what kind of channel you use, you need a Google Account.

To create an account, access the YouTube website, click Sign in, click Sign in at the top right or bottom left of the screen, and enter your personal or company account if you have one.

If you don't have an account yet, have you forgotten your email as soon as you open the screen and enter your email / phone number and password? Click More Options below and click

 Create Account.

Please create an account that provides the requested information.

2. Create Channel

If you already have an account in the upper right corner, you may see an image or company logo if you have set up a profile picture. If you don't have a photo, the first letter of your name will appear as a light blue circle.

Click Circles and then your channel.

3. Select the channel name
Complete the information here with the name of your personal channel or the company name of your company channel.

Click Create Channel.

If you already have a brand account and use this account to create a YouTube channel, you will need to skip any previous steps to create a channel or choose a company account that will link to your existing channel.

All set up! Your YouTube channel is ready Now you can customize

How to customize your channel
Click Create Channel to open a page with information.

1.       Click Customize Channel

2. Edit the image as desired. If it's a personal account, you can add a photo. But if your goal is to create a YouTube channel for your brand, you'll need to customize it with your logo.
Add channel art (recommended size is 2560 x 1414, up to 6MB);
Add featured channel
Change your profile picture.
Enable / disable popular channels on YouTube.
Add sections to create and separate videos about different topics.

2.       Click My Channel in the upper left corner to customize and view your channel.

How to post a video to YouTube
After you create a channel on YouTube, it's time to publish your video.

You need to record video before anything else. This includes the steps from pre-production of content, such as determining the niche you are working on, to post-production, such as promoting your video.

I've posted about this content on a blog here, and here you can step through the process of creating content from video.

When you're ready to upload your video, you can post to your channel that you've recorded and edited it.

1.       Click Upload in the upper right corner.

2. In the screen that opens, click Choose file to upload and select the video from your computer.
You also have the option to import a video from Google Photos and start live streaming.

You can only send videos up to 15 minutes long. To upload longer videos, you need to increase the limit. To do this, click Increase Limit just below Help and Suggestions to verify your account by phone or text.

3. Enter basic information about your video, such as title, description, tags, and video thumbnails (for custom thumbnails you will need to check your account).
In addition, this step sets the features of the video.

Public: Any YouTube user can access your content.
Private: Only people with the video link can see it.
Private: You can only watch videos.
Scheduling: You can choose the date and time to post the content.

4. Click Advanced Settings to complete the following information.
Comments Allowed
Choose from standard YouTube licenses or Creative Commons (100% original content only license).
Video category;
Language etc.

5. Click Done in the upper right corner and you're all set! The video is on YouTube.

To fix, click Back to Fix and change what you want.

Click the available link to see how the video works on YouTube.

Click Edit Video to return and edit your video at any time.

How to increase your channel's visibility
You do not have to upload a video that has a YouTube channel and people are not watching your content.

That's why, in addition to creating original videos with topics that are important to your audience, you need to gain visibility into your channel.

Improved video content search also increased YouTube competition. Getting a lot of subscriptions is really difficult, but the biggest mistake most people make is not knowing who the public is and what their goals are. Therefore, it's important to identify the right audience for your channel.

So check the following tips.

1.Focus on only one topic.
Select the niche you want to target, preferably the micro-niche. Do not change the subject of any video or even change the subject when discussing specific content. Keep your focus!

2. Investigate before choosing keywords
Search for the best keywords for your topic using YouTube's autocomplete (from the Anonymous tab) and Google Trends to evaluate your competitor's material.

The more important the keyword, the more likely it is to put the keyword at the beginning of the title, so viewers know immediately what to say.

Take this opportunity to read amazing posts about YouTube SEO strategy.

3. Pay attention to the title and thumbnail of the video
To attract viewers, the title and thumbnail of your video are very important.

The thumb should attract people's attention and communicate the subject of the video very clearly.

You can also put keywords on the image to highlight it if you want.

4. Post regularly
You can post your video once a week or once a day.

The main thing is to make it clear that the audience will always be there.

Ideally, you should have an editing calendar and let your audience know the days and times of activity on your channel.

5. Do not knock around the bushes
By summarizing the topic and starting the video script, you can feel as if viewers can trust you and be willing to watch the entire video.

Do the introductory work and don't worry about the length of the video.

2. Interact with the viewer
Respond to each comment personally and encourage potential customers to subscribe, comment on, and share the video while watching the video.

Also ask for comments and suggestions about future content you want to see on your channel.

7. Result Analysis
Make the most of YouTube Analytics to tailor your content to better understand and satisfy your audience.

8. Examination, exploration, evaluation
Test different formats, edition styles, titles, and thumbnail models.

At first you will probably need to make some adjustments. Do so without losing focus on the channel.

If it doesn't seem to work, be patient and keep trying.

If you take a look at the content of the YouTube channel you subscribed to the most early in the day, you'll see the mediation process and better every day.

In addition, you can invest in paid advertising such as Google AdWords, giving your videos more reach.

The most important thing at this stage is to see the content and share it better. This will allow other users to get to know your channel and get a little higher ranking in YouTube search results.
How to monetize your YouTube channel
Do you know you can monetize a YouTube video?

By 2018, anyone with a channel with more than 10,000 views could be able to advertise and pay for their videos.

Of course, I had to meet some prerequisites:

You should be able to prove that the video is 100% original and produced by you.
I had to post the video regularly.
Must comply with YouTube community rules
You must be a resident of a country or territory where the YouTube Partner Program is available.
Also, since the ad was broadcast, I had to have a Google Ads account.

However, YouTube has made some changes and now people need to meet the following minimum requirements to monetize their accounts:

Your channel must have at least 1,000 subscribers.
There must be at least 4,000 viewing hours in the last 12 months.
We do not violate our guidelines or receive complaints from users and are not involved in spam.
To show ads and monetize your YouTube channel, you need to:

Publish your original content regularly.
At least one year of content must be posted to the channel.
Follow your viewers and watch videos regularly.
Comply with the YouTube Terms of Use.
In general, you need to think about the audience, as well as all Internet content, and create something truly valuable to the user.

You will be wondering if your channel meets all requirements. How much are you profiting?
There is no price, what we know about this topic is guessing. But to better understand this issue, take a look at how much money YouTubers are making and see if it's worth it.
